Hepworth returns to the British Open Brass Band Championships

We are so pleased to have secured an invitation to perform at the British Open Brass Band Championships at Symphony Hall, Birmingham in September, having finished runner-up in the Grand Shield at this year’s Spring Festival.

Thank you so much to everyone for the messages of support and congratulations following our performance of Stephen Roberts ‘Star Crossed Lovers’.

Qualification secures our appearance at all three domestic majors this year, starting with the British Open at Symphony Hall, followed by the National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall, and then a return to Brass in Concert at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Gateshead in November.

It's safe to say that 2026 is shaping up to be a great year for the band!
