Friends & Sponsorship
Since September 2022, the band has been financially self sufficient, having been grateful to have received support from Holmfirth-based Conroy Brook Developments since 2014.
Hepworth band trustee Graham Goldthorpe said: “On behalf of the trustees, officials and players, I extend our thanks and gratitude to Conroy Brook Developments, with particular thanks to Ivan and Richard Conroy, for their support and encouragement over many years.”
Opportunities For Sponsorship
These are exciting times for the band and we can offer you an opportunity to be part of the success. As companies look for ways in which they can cost effectively promote themselves on a local and national basis, supporting a brass band can provide a unique way to reach a wider audience, increasing exposure and awareness through a flexible package of opportunities to suit different needs and budgets.

Friends of Hepworth Band
With a little help from our friends..
For a small registered charity like ours, raising funds has been particularly difficult over the last few years. We’ve still managed to achieve a lot though, having undertaken a major refurbishment of the bandroom, delivered a successful series of concerts in and around the Holme Valley, partnered with HD9 Youth Brass to help inspire the next generation of young musicians, and presented a series of free online concerts across our social media platforms.
Whilst we’re working hard to do as much as we can ourselves, we’re looking for supporters to try and help us. We’ve launched the ‘Friends of Hepworth Band’, and we ask whether you would consider supporting the band by making a donation?
As a thank you, for a donation of £30 you’ll receive regular updates about the band and a complimentary ticket to our popular Christmas concert.
This will be in the knowledge that your contribution is helping to ensure that our 140-year tradition of brass band music making is maintained long into the future.
