The Hepworth Band is proud to have been crowned 2026 Yorkshire Champions, and we’re thrilled to be representing Yorkshire at the finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, at the Royal Albert Hall, London for the second year in a row!

The band is at the heart of our small village community in the Holme Valley of West Yorkshire and we're proudly throwing big punches in the competitive world of Brass Banding!

As a village band we're entirely self funded, which means we rely on income from concerts, donations, fundraising events and the generosity of our supporters and local community.

Whilst we're proud to be representing Yorkshire at such a prestigious event, it comes at a cost. We've already started fundraising to help with the cost of transporting the band and our instruments, and the hire of rehearsal facilities in London.

You can help us on our way by becoming a partner of the band, by sponsoring a favourite section of the band (cornets, horns, baritones & euphoniums, trombones, basses and percussion), by becoming a friend of the band or by donating to our National Finals Appeal:

In return for becoming a partner of the band, we can offer:

• Acknowledgement of your support via our website, social media channels and through our annual series of concerts and events.

• Complimentary tickets to one of our annual concerts, with the opportunity to request a favourite piece of music to be performed by the band.

• A “thank you” photo of the band taken at the Royal Albert Hall.
