Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra and Hepworth Band join forces for what promises to be a memorable evening of music at Huddersfield Town Hall.

Richard Strauss - Ein Heldenleben and Gavin Higgins award winning Concerto Grosso for Brass Band & Orchestra offer two expansive and truly dramatic visions through their works in this concert; an event that will be truly electrifying and one of the largest musical collaborations the Town Hall will have seen!

Higgins Concerto Grosso for Brass Band & Orchestra forms the centrepiece of the concert. It was premièred at the Royal Albert Hall - BBC Proms in 2022, performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Tredegar Town Band.
