Hepworth Band Youth Brass Day

We're really excited to be hosting our first Youth Brass Day at The Civic, Holmfirth, Sat 4 May.

Supported by Brass Bands England, Holme Valley Parish Council & One Community Foundation, it’s a great opportunity for young brass & percussion players to come along & enjoy a full afternoon working with mentors from the band.

We're just as excited that Katy Jones, principal trombone with the Hallé Orchestra, a former winner of BBC2 Young Musician of the year and one of the UKs leading professional orchestral trombone players will be joining us to lead an inspiring masterclass.

The Youth band, Hepworth & Katy will then join forces for a very special Gala Concert as a fitting finale.

We'll be joined by HD9 Community Brass as our partner band, the event is also open to any young brass & percussion players & is free to attend.
