Christmas Concert
St. Michael and All Angels, Thornhill, Saturday, December 14, 7.30pm.
The Band returns to Thornhill Parish Church for the regular Christmas Concert with singer Bethany Rosamund and Wakefield Youth Choir.
Hepworth Band Christmas Concert
Christ Church, New Mill, Sunday, December 15, 7.00pm.
The Band once again performs in New Mill Church in one of its most popular concerts of the year.
Hepworth Church Carol Service
Holy Trinity, Hepworth, Sunday, December 22, 4.30pm.
The small band accompanies the annual carol service in Hepworth Church.
Carols round the tree
The Butcher’s Arms, Hepworth, Tuesday, December 24, 7pm.
The band plays carols outside the Butcher’s Arms in the traditional Christmas Eve village get-together. The pub may be open for drinks, the Village Hall will be open.

January 2020

Viennese Matinée Concert
Christ Church, New Mill, Sunday, January 19, 3.00pm.
Hepworth Band returns to one of its favourite venues for an afternoon of waltzes and wonderful Viennese music.

March 2020

The Yorkshire Brass Band Championships
Town Hall, Sunday, March 8, Afternoon.
Hepworth competes against some of the best bands in the world in the fight to represent Yorkshire at this year’s National Championships. The set piece will be A Tale As Yet Untold by Philip Sparke.

May 2020

The 100th British Open Brass Band Spring Festival
Blackpool Winter Gardens, Saturday, May 9, all day.
The band will be competing in the Centenary Grand Shield qualifying contest for the 2020 British Open.

June 2020

The Whit Friday March Contests
Saddleworth, Friday, June 5, 4.30pm.
Hepworth will be among about 100 bands from all over the UK and even some from abroad competing for the prizes at the villages around Saddleworth, at what has been called the greatest free show on Earth.
Hepworth Feast
Hepworth, Monday, June 29, 2.00pm.
The band will lead the feast procession from Hepworth School over to Scholes, down to Jackson Bridge, and then back up through the village to the school, stopping at various points along the way for hymn singing, and later accompanyng the communal sing outside the Butcher’s Arms at 7.00pm.

July 2020

Brighouse March and Hymn Contest
Town Hall Square, Sunday, July 5, all afternoon.
Hepworth return to Brighouse for this popular contest.
Durham Miners’ Gala
New Herrington and Durham City, Saturday, July 11, all day.
The Band will be representing New Herrington Colliery, near Houghton-le-Spring.
