The Yorkshire Brass Band Championships

Hepworth competes against some of the best bands in the world in the fight to represent Yorkshire at this year’s National Championships. The set piece will be A Tale As Yet Untold by Philip Sparke.
The 100th British Open Brass Band Spring Festival

The band will be competing in the Centenary Grand Shield qualifying contest for the 2020 British Open.
The Whit Friday March Contests

Hepworth will be among about 100 bands from all over the UK and even some from abroad competing for the prizes at the villages around Saddleworth, at what has been called the greatest free show on Earth.

The band will lead the feast procession from Hepworth School over to Scholes, down to Jackson Bridge, and then back up through the village to the school, stopping at various points along the way for hymn singing, and later accompanyng the communal sing outside the Butcher’s Arms at 7.00pm.
