Fri 16^th Whit Friday Marches, Saddleworth: The famous Whit Friday march contests around the villages of Saddleworth get under way from 4pm. For details of all the contests visit: www.whitfriday.brassbands.saddleworth.org/intro.html
Sat Sun 24-25^th England Masters International Championships, Cambridge: The 2008 Championships take place at the Corn Exchange, Cambridge on Sunday 25th May. The competition gets underway at 10.00am with 20 bands from the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, and France competing for the title. Tickets available from the Box Office (tel: 01223 234090).

Sat 14^th Concert "Brass & Bells" Brighouse Central Methodist Church: The band will be appearing as guests of the Clifton Handbell Ringers for a concert in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis charity. For details of the event visit: www.chbr.co.uk
Sat 28^th English National Championships, Guild Hall, Preston: The 2008 Championships take place at Preston Guild Hall when the top 16 English bands compete for an invitation to represent England at the 2009 European Championships. For details visit: http://www.bfbb.co.uk/ENBBC_Main.htm
Mon 30^th Hepworth Feast (Afternoon & Evening).: The feast traditionally takes place on the last Monday in June and celebrates the passing of the plague from the village. The Feast gets underway at 2^pm with the band leading a procession through the village

Sun 20^th "Concert in the Park" with Colne Valley MVC Belton North Lincs: An outdoor Summer Proms concert with Colne Valley Male Voice Choir, complete with a fireworks finale! The show gets underway at 6.30^pm

Fri-Sat 13-14^th British Open Championships, Symphony Hall, Birmingham: The bands fourth appearance at "the Open" one of the major Championships of the banding year
Sat 27^th Concert "A Night at the Opera" Huddersfield Town Hall: The bands annual concert in Huddersfield Town Hall. Watch out for details of the event and an announcement about our very special guests for "A Night at the Opera".

Sat 18^th Concert, "Stroud Brass Festival" Stroud, Glos: Another appearance for the band at this well established brass festival at the Subscription Rooms in Stroud. Tickets available from the Festival Secretary Mr J Burden (tel 01453 753188)
